We were delighted to find out that modular construction has been recognised in the South Coast Property Awards!

Our appointed architects, OB Architecture, have been shortlisted for the South Coast Property Awards Regeneration Project of the Year Finalist with The Business Magazine – South East, for our completed PBSA project in the centre of Southampton.

Student housing and high quality are not always recognised as going hand-in-hand, but working collaboratively with OB Architecture on this project continues to help to buck the trend for our sister company, Unilife.

The scheme for 95 studio apartments, was designed to make use of offsite modular construction, which ensured internal build quality as well as delivering construction and programme efficiencies and reduced down time for the existing facilities.

OB Architecture worked closely with the us in the early stages of the project, to optimise the scheme and maximise the commercial benefits available through offsite construction.

The award nomination means designed projects like this are being recognised for the wider impact that quality offsite construction and architecture can have in an area, helping to regenerate Southampton high-street.

A huge congratulations to the team at OB Architecture on the well deserved nomination and good luck!
