On Earth Day 2024, we thought it was important to share our investment in Ecologi, our trusted partner who assists us in making a greater positive impact on our planet.
Ecologi play a key role in our sustainability strategy by helping us to reduce our carbon emissions. Our funding directly supports climate projects all over the world, and here’s some of the important projects we have supported:
- Turning methane gas into electricity in Brazil -144.42TCO2E AVOIDED
- Generating over 500,000 MWh of electricity annually from wind power in Thailand – 117.62TCO2E AVOIDED
- Generating 4.80MW of clean electricity in India – 107.28TCO2E AVOIDED
- Preserving over 27,000 hectares of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil – 83.44TCO2E AVOIDED
- Preventing the emission of 245,015 tonnes of CO2e every year through wind power – 79.55TCO2E AVOIDED
- Reducing deforestation and degradation in the Vichada region of Colombia – 77.6TCO2E AVOIDED
- Preventing the emission of 226,978 tonnes of CO2e every year through wind power – 75.86TCO2E AVOIDED
- Generating solar power in Tamil Nadu and Telangana, India – 57.22TCO2E AVOIDED
